Some songs begin with a melody.
Others begin with something life teaches you.
“Love Spoken True” came from a simple realization: the deepest expressions of love are rarely found in the biggest words. They’re found in what we do.
Love shows up.
Love listens.
Love stays when staying isn’t always easy.
Love forgives. It encourages. It makes room for another person to become who they were created to be.
And sometimes, love speaks most clearly without saying anything at all.
That idea became the heart of “Love Spoken True,” the latest release from Lionheart Creed, featuring Niona.
A Song About the Love We Live
As I’ve moved through different chapters of my own life, my understanding of love has changed.
When we’re younger, it’s easy to think love is mostly a feeling—the chemistry, excitement, and emotion of finding someone who makes the world feel a little different.
Those things matter.
But life eventually teaches us that lasting love is something deeper.
It’s consistency.
It’s kindness.
It’s choosing to care when no one is keeping score.
It’s being present for the people who matter.
And it extends far beyond romantic love.
It’s the love between parents and children. Between lifelong friends. Between people who become family even though they share no blood. It’s the person who sits beside you during a difficult chapter and doesn’t try to fix everything—they simply make sure you don’t walk through it alone.
Those are the moments when love speaks true.
Two Voices, One Message
This song became even more meaningful when it developed into a duet featuring Niona.
There is something powerful about hearing two voices carry the same message from different perspectives. To me, it reinforces what the song is really about: love isn’t one person speaking and another listening.
It’s a conversation.
A connection.
Two people bringing their own stories, experiences, hopes, and imperfections together.
That’s where something real can begin.
What Life Has Taught Me About Love
At this stage of my life, I don’t believe love is about finding perfection.
I think it’s about finding truth.
It’s knowing someone well enough to see both their strengths and imperfections and still treating their heart with care.
It’s also recognizing that some people stay for a lifetime, while others stay for a season—and both can leave something meaningful behind.
Perhaps one of the greatest lessons is this:
Love isn't proven by what we promise in the perfect moments. It's revealed by how we show up in the ordinary ones.
That is the spirit behind “Love Spoken True.”
Part of a Bigger Journey
Lionheart Creed began as music, but it has become something larger for me.
The songs, the upcoming book Think. Believe. Become., and the message behind Unleash Your Lion Within® all come back to the same idea:
Our lives are still being written.
We can learn from what came before without being trapped by it. We can love again. Dream again. Create again. And at any age, we can choose to become more intentional about the life we are building and the people with whom we share it.
“Love Spoken True” is one small piece of that journey.
If the song causes someone to think about the people who have truly shown them love—or reminds them to show that love a little more openly today—then the song has done exactly what I hoped it would do.
Because in the end, the most important things we leave behind probably won’t be the things we owned or even the things we accomplished.
They’ll be the people who knew, because of the way we lived, that they were loved.
Listen to “Love Spoken True,” featuring Niona, from Lionheart Creed.
And maybe after you listen, think about one person in your life whose love has always spoken true.
Then tell them.
The journey is the Victory.
